The Council knows. Convinced that these hidden lives will draw something far worse back into existence, they prepare a weapon to “protect” humanity — one so destructive it could erase everything they claim to defend.

Yet most of those they target aren’t warriors or monsters. They’re just people — artists, lovers, survivors — living their lives despite the hatred watching from above.
